I turned it into a funky, pop art type masterpiece baby yeah :hippy: :drevil: lol

I made a new 1 which does actually look more like pop art ....

Technically its not your pic, your pic with the same sort of filters would of turned out like, well see for your self

Looks like a few filters, a brush stroke filter such as spatter, and then a canvas texture, lens flare, and contrast bightness tweaking etc, looks pretty cool though.

Your picture looks kind of like cloth instead of a painting i think, which looks good

Do you consider Imola to be a wide enough track, if yes, then that means you would also consider Fern Bay to be wide enough because it is the same, if not wider. No they wouldnt use Fern Bay in modern F1, 'cos of the run off areas lol, its not exactly a safe track.

"I didn't say you can't drive a BF1 around Fern Bay, or that you shouldn't, nor did I say the tracks we have at the moment are not ok."
I know you didn't, and i didnt say that you said that.

"What you think of modern day tracks IRL is quite irrelevant as a reaction to that comment."
That was a personal opinion that i said before quoting you, 2 seperate sentences in 2 seperate paragraphs that don't relate to each other exactly.

I know there's a variety of cars, and some tracks suit some cars better, but saying Fern Bay isn't suitable for the sauber because you think the track width is too narrow doesn't neccesarily make sense, when there are a number of tracks still used by F1 which have roughly the same width.

Narrow tracks can add to the sense of speed, and it used to be good when F1 ran at the old Hockenheim, which was not only a high speed track, but was also very narrow making it seem even faster.

You dont exactly need wide tracks to race F1 cars, the modern tracks are too wide i think. Some of the older tracks are wide enough, such as Imola, look at the attached pic.

If an F1 car is roughly 200cm wide, then the track is roughly 10-11m wide! Which may sound narrow, but is a good width. Then look at the other pics, fern bay is about 11-12m wide, but apparently ...

"Sure you can drive a BF1 or FO8 around Fern Bay, but that's what I would call unrealistic because that would never happen IRL. " :pillepall

Then you move on to South City, some parts of this track are up to 30m, most parts are about 15m, and then the narrow bit is 10m.

Kind of puts it into perspective that Fern Bay isnt too narrow for F1 cars, and the mix of tracks we have at the moment are ok.

Quote from BuddhaBing : I suspect, however -- and this is pure speculation -- that it didn't sell nearly as well as kunos had hoped and that he had to make a choice between abandoning the project or facing financial hardship. I know which choice I would make.

If it didnt sell well, then he would all ready be in "financial hardship", so abandoning the project would only put him into more "financial hardship", and continuing would potentially increase sales. I dont think this is what happened but you never know.

TBH the game is pretty playable online. I've had a few good races and close wheel to wheel battles and cant see why so many people are still complaining about the netcode, the only thing i would be complaining about are the lack of people playing it online, and in quali if you start a hotlap just before the clock runs out, it wont let you finish the lap, but this happens a lot in LFS because people always shift+R :irked:

I hope it hasnt been abandoned because there's a lot of potential with new tracks and mods once the devkits out, but I swear the netcode isnt as bad as people make out!

Layers just make it a lot easier to make a picture, think of each layer as a see through bit of paper, you draw onto it, then if you dont like it you cant just take that layer away and still have the layers below it.

You can also add different effects to a layer, and they will only be applied to that layer. If im making a pic of a car, and i want the background blurred, i can cut out the background, copy it to a new layer and blur it, change the brightness/contrast, sharpen it etc, and it will only effect the background because the car is in different layer.

There's some pics that might help explain it

Im the car in front ... and no he didnt Tunnel vision wouldn't exactly make sense though, because its a Tcam not drivers perspective

The FO8 is such a good car to race now, but hardly anyone uses them

To be honest it can be whatever you want I guess tunnel vision makes sense with the focus just on the car in front ... but so would speed blur.

Do you think he caught me before the corner ?
